FireSonnet -10/29/2009

The fire burns within its self so deep. Stride by stride it takes its leap to destroy You cannot part its growth it is not week It’s havoc all colorful to employ Fire, it burns within the soul so deep It jumps and it dances; its beauty bites. But fire is not always one to keep The passion not hidden is used for spite. And yet this beauty out numbers them all It shines and it shines with a warm calm glow. Its flames reach out, they are ever so tall. It can be your friend or it can be foe. It begins to simmer its ashes dark Was it too late or did it hit the mark?
